Research has shown that hockey has the potential to be an amazing experience that can significantly positively impact girls as they develop. Girls who play hockey develop physical and emotional skills they can rely on for years. Here are 20 major physical, personal and social benefits of a daughter playing girls hockey.
The North Shore Female Ice Hockey Association (NSFIHA) has been providing excellence in girls hockey since 1998. Because of the commitment and dedication of our parents and players our program is among the largest and most successful in the Province. Our Association believes that hockey provides significant life experiences to our hockey players and their families.
Each year our Association plays home to over 200 West Vancouver and North Vancouver girls. Annual fees are very reasonable, and the 2018-2019 season goes from September 2018 to March 2019. Parents will be happy to know most ice times have great start times. Our programs fill up fast, so register as quickly as you can.
